Awesome! First Matt Flores turns the breakbeat, nu-step and whatsoever-garage-celebrities completely nuts with his 3-track-maxi Digital Self, and then he just makes this incredible shuffle Shortcut Metaworld that simply belongs in every dj-set. This also includes you, beloved friends from the (deep-)house, minimal or whatever straight organised congregation! Having the 4/4 kick in mind, this track just rolls off with old school piano lines as if there was nothing else but getting the party on the way. Because the beat makes these little in-between-steps, the freestyle-brothers will also have a lot of serious fun. Shortcut Metaworld is a track that is made in heaven for the switch from house to step/breaks and back again. It has been circulating as a cd-rom lately and it is an unbelievable save starter when the party gets stuck. Max Fresh (Hidden Agenda/ Zest) stays true to his reputation on the Flip?In his remix he gets the indicated staccato-harmonies from Digital Self to flow and adds a few of his own in the process. Some people just turn everything they touch into gold. The Re-Fresh bounces very deep and forcing/swinging, with electroid references. We should seriously consider including it on our Traffic compilations belatedly.
