The man is sitting in his kitchen and he is cooking, and cooking...While he is doing that, he never turns on the TV or leafs through the pagesof the hip cookbooks. No, Matt Flores has seen many kitchens and danced through even more menus during his longtime club-experience. You never know which recipes are directing his ingredients. The result are tracks, that are evolving - in their very own way - from the genres house and uk-garage, playing in the same manner with the depth of the minimalism and the overflowing high gloss soul-dancefloors. They differ only in nuances from the conventional goings-on but these nuances are - as we all know - for the most part decisive. His last maxi on Combination (Lissi/Metajack) was over several months inside the cases of people who had understood: such as John Tejada or Triple R of Traum/Trapez. Matt Flores` maxi-tracks are perfect for the house/techno-dancefloor, but they feel and develop different and that`s what makes them become the trump card of the sets. They freshen every set with their unique timbres and animate every hip to shake. When the hearts and minds are being fondled by high-class chords at the same time, theres nothing left to be desired.
