Living your youth in the shadowy Thuringian Forest, just like DOUGLAS GREED, you easily get the tendency to melancholy and universal world-weariness and in the course of time your revulsion at fatty grilled sausages and the ruling small-town mentality constantly grows.
In general, the Thuringian feels sad most of the time and what he likes best is to stroke himself over his fuzzy belly during the night, hoping to warm-away the feeling of being lost. Grandma`s method of treatment, which consists of laying on her hands and carrying out circular moves, drives away the bad feeling of having drunk too much black tea, just like LOPEZ does with its deep-acting rhythm, which declares the present day to be the next day.
On the other hand, CONSTRUCTION TIME AGAIN feels and sounds like waiting in a sunny station concourse while the rain says goodbye, dying away at a transparent station roof and announcing the departure of trains full of strangers. Smiling faces of strangers, giving each other a farewell while AND THEN THERE IS is playing and everything is being devoured by the merciless depths of the station`s underground. Strangers like these are picked up at the station forecourt by ROBAG WRUHME and asked to enter this bus, so they can go sightseeing, in whatever city, while they are constantly nodding and jiggling, caught in the depths of a WRUHME-like LOPEZ-RMX. Strangers are ordering a dinner-table for two persons at the hotel restaurant, well knowing that they are going to be alone again over there and that they are going to swallow their Communion with much too much red wine. And they are feeling ashamed and frostily detached, just like the melody in THEME emerging between bass and 808. It`s a new city.
